My background

  • 20 years of judo: second-degree black belt, competitor, referee and teacher
  • 2010 to 2013: trail and ultra-trail running
  • 2012 to 2015: triathlon, first off-road (XTERRA), then a half Ironman in 2013 and my first Ironman in 2015
  • Since 2016: triathlon coach, after completing the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) with Triathlon Québec

Why I coach

Friends and family encouraged me to coach them so they could prepare for their competitions as well as possible, then to become a coach myself. I coach out of pure passion: I read a lot about sport, follow sporting events and compete. I love sharing my passion and my knowledge.

I specialize in long-distance triathlon (half and full Ironman), but I also coach several athletes in sprint and Olympic distances. I have competed at the Ironman World Championships in Kona (140.6) and the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, as well as the Boston, Chicago and New York marathons.

Athletes qualified for Kona and the 70.3 World Championships

Some of the athletes I coach have qualified for Kona and for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. This is above all the result of their hard work, consistency and seriousness, with my support beside them.
